Panaji: The film ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’ directed by famous Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has been released all over the country. The film highlights the extraordinary work of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. From students to adults everyone should see this movie. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has appealed to the Chief Minister Dr. Promod Sawant to exempt the film from tax in the state of Goa. HJS has made this appeal through a memorandum.
Memorandum further says that, “Unfortunately, school textbooks today provide inaccurate, and sometimes incorrect, information about our revolutionaries.”
In this pretext students should get detailed and true information about our revolutionaries and thereby they will develop affection towards them. This will increase the patriotism among the students. The film ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’ unfolds life story of Veer Savarkar . The film has elaborated the horrors of black water punishment given to our revolutionaries in the Andamans.
Despite suffering so much hell, revolutionaries did not give up their determination, which is an ideal example for the younger generation who commit suicide for petty reasons these days.
This film highlights the patriotism, Hinduism, politics, social cause, literary writing, work for the rescue of the downtrodden in the society, tireless efforts to realize the dream of a united India, and the work of the ‘Abhinav Bharat’ organization of the Veer Savarkar.
