PONDA: A Ponda man has been charged by Ponda police with getting an income certificate using the fake signature of Yogiraj Gosavi, the chief officer of the Ponda Municipal Council (PMC).
When Sadanand Prabhugavakar applied for an income certificate, PMC staff discovered that he had reportedly attached a phony income certificate. After bringing it to PMC Chief Officer Yogiraj Gosavi’s attention, it was determined that the certificate’s signature was fraudulent.
After that, Gosavi complained about it to the Ponda police station. In response, the police opened a case on Wednesday night, and it’s possible that more persons may be the target of future cases. Under the direction of Police Inspector Vijaynath Kavlekar, Ponda PSI Ashish Velip is carrying out additional research.
