MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police have registered a case against a Nuvem resident for allegedly threatening to kill a family, attacking two persons with a knife and biting the complainant during a scuffle.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Grayson Mazarello, a resident of Nuvem, regarding an incident that occurred on May 14 at around 9:40 am at Nuvem.
Police said the accused, identified as Mahender Singh Rawat of Nuvem, allegedly threatened to kill the complainant’s family over previous enmity.
The accused later allegedly charged at the complainant and his father while holding a knife. Police said the complainant managed to grab the accused’s hand in an attempt to save himself from the attack.
During the scuffle, the accused allegedly bit the complainant on his left hand, causing injuries.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ashutosh Naik of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
