OLD GOA: Old Goa Police have registered an unnatural death case after a 34-year-old man was allegedly struck during a coconut tree fall incident at Bhakia Bhat in Old Goa.
According to police, a wireless message was received from the Casualty Police at GMC Bambolim on 17 May 2026 at around 11:27 pm informing about the death of Mansing Patil, a resident of Old Goa and native of Madhya Pradesh.
Police said the deceased was brought dead to the casualty ward at GMC Bambolim. As per medical information, the incident was reported as an alleged fall of a coconut tree at Bhakia Bhat, Old Goa.
Following the report, Old Goa Police registered U.D. No. 34/2026 under Section 194 of the BNSS. Further inquiry and arrangements are being carried out by PSI Manohar Dhulapkar of Old Goa Police Station.
