DABAL: A woman from Vasco lodged a complaint at the Curchorem Police Station, alleging that a 27-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh was caught spying on her 14-year-old daughter while she was inside a changing room at a farm located in Kiralpal-Dabal.
According to sources, the family had visited the farm for a day trip when the incident occurred. The accused reportedly peered through a ventilator opening in the changing room while the girl was changing clothes, causing distress over the breach of privacy.
The minor girl raised an alarm after noticing the man’s inappropriate behavior, leading to the confrontation and subsequent arrest of the suspect by the police.
Authorities at Curchorem Police Station have launched a formal investigation into the matter, which is currently ongoing. Preliminary inquiries suggest the accused had been employed at the farm for several months prior to the incident.
Local residents have called on the police to handle the case with utmost seriousness and have urged farm owners with swimming pool facilities to implement strict safety measures to protect visitors’ privacy and security.
