COLVA: Colva Police have arrested a Cavelossim resident after allegedly finding him in possession of suspected ganja worth approximately Rs 40,000.
According to the state complaint filed by PSI Nikhil Khajnekar of Colva Police Station, the accused identified as Abhishak Dundappanavar, resident of Tamborim, Cavelossim, was caught red-handed on May 13, 2026 between 4 pm and 5 pm at Betty Waddo, Cavelossim.
Police said the accused was found possessing fruiting and flowering tops-like substance suspected to be ganja weighing around 400 grams.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out by PSI Varshda Naik Dessai of Colva Police Station.
