MAPUSA: In the Guirim hit and run case, the Mapusa Police have added section 304, 201 of IPC i.e. Culpable homicide not amounting to murder and destruction of evidence to the crime against accused Milind Naik Dessai.
Mapuca Police during the investigation of death of Pradeep Narvekar R/o Guirim, Bardez, Goa received blood report of Alcohol test of Accused driver Milind Dessai.
SDPO Mapuca Jivba Dalvi informed that the action was taken based on alcohol estimation report which is received from the Department of Pathology, District hospital, Mapusa which has come positive towards Consumption of alcohol by accused driver Milind Naik Dessai.
Mapuca police were investigating hit and run case at NH-66 road , Guirim, Bardez, Goa which had occurred on 15.10.2023.
Police have written to the Court regarding addition of Sections 304, 201 IPC
Police further wrote to court that the accused Milind Naik Dessai is Advocate by profession and he has knowledge of his act.
