NESSAI: Margao Police have registered an offence of kidnapping following a complaint from a resident of Borda, Margao, originally from Uttar Pradesh.
According to police, the complainant (name withheld) reported that on February 24, 2026, between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, near the Carbon Factory at Nessai, the accused allegedly kidnapped his minor cousin sister from lawful guardianship.
The accused has been identified as Pankaj Nishad, a resident of Nessai and originally from Banda, Uttar Pradesh.
Police have registered the offence, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sagar Kamat of Margao Police Station.
