PANAJI: MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar today informed that they will be announcing candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in February 2022 only after August 15.
Dhavalikar also announced that MGP will contest the elections without any alliance.
“I would like to inform that MGP candidates for the upcoming elections would only be announced after August 15. As of now nothing has been finalised as to who will be getting the tickets,” said Dhavalikar
He further said that MGP will be contesting elections on an individual level.
MGP today handed over a memorandum to the Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan over bad network in rural areas which intern is hampering online education.
“We have tried our best to provide broadband connection to some houses but some unknown miscreants have been damaging or cutting off the fibre,” said Sudin Dhavalikar
He said that the state government has failed to deliver on improving mobile connectivity in Goa and that the students were suffering.
He said that failure of resolving issue by July 27 will force them to go for calling attention in assembly.
Sudin further has demanded stoppage of online education until digital infrastructure is in place.
