PANAJI: MIBK High School, Khandepar & Sacred Heart High School, Parra emerged Champions in boys & girls section respectively at the 19th Sub Junior U/17 Tennis Ball Cricket Championship organised by United Sports Club, Mardol & Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association held at Mardol ground from 7th to 11th February 2024
In Final Match, MIBK defeated Govt High School Amona in boys section whereas Sacred Heart High School defeated Gurukul High School, Canacona in girl section.
In the girls final between Sacred Heart High School vs Gurukul High School, Gurukul scored 56 runs in 6 overs, Tanisha Velip scored 28 runs & Khushi Velip scored 12 runs.
In reply Sacred Heart scored required runs in 5.4 overs, For Winners, Pooja
Rathod scored 28 runs, Supriya scored 13 runs. Won by 7 wickets.

Individual prizes:- Best Batsman- Pooja Rathod & Best Bowler – Tanisha Velip
In the boys final between MIBK High School vs Govt High School, Amona, Govt HS scored 39 runs in alloted 6 overs with Prathmesh scored 8 runs, Vignesh scored 9 runs.
In reply MIBK scored the required runs in 3.1 overs, Pravit Naik scored 35 runs. Won by 8 wickets.

Aditya Angle, Ex Ranji Player & Businessman was the chief Guest whereas Sanjay Bhandari, Corporate Head, Nestle India Ltd & Vaibhavi Mardolkar, Panch were the guest of honour, others present were Varad Mardolkar, Nilesh Nagvekar, Dr. Datta Bhat, Sandeep Pagi, Ropesh Naik, Dinesh Naik, Nitin Kothambikar, sushant Velingkar, Manoj Mardolkar, Prakash Kotarkar, Nandu Mardolkar, Dr. Ghanshyam Mardolkar, Aniket Naik, Sarvesh Mardolkar, Shekhar Naik, Dr. Ajay Pednekar, Ajinkya Naik, Raj Mardolkar, Haresh Parsekar, Nilesh Naik and others.
Goa Sub- Junior team players & officials which had won Gold in the 28th Sub Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship were felicitated by United Sports Club on the occasion.
Adv. Varad Mardolkar welcomed the guests whereas Nilesh Naik proposed vote of thanks.
The championship Technical aspects were well coordinated by Haresh Parsekar, Nitin Kothambikar, Ajinkya Naik & Nilesh Naik and others.
Total 44 school teams in boys section and 21 girls school teams participated in the championship.
