PORVORIM: Minister for Environment and Climate Change Aleixo Sequeira, chaired the meeting of First Working Group Committee Meeting organized by the Government of Goa and the World Bank to discuss the operationalization of the Goa Blended Finance Facility
The meeting was held at the Goa Secretariat, Porvorim.
This critical session focused on key decisions related to the governance structure, intermediary operations, and strategic direction of the facility.
Also, the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for managing financial risks, the registration of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and other pivotal issues around capital mobilization for sustainable infrastructure in Goa was deliberated in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Principal Secretary (Finance) and other Working Group Committee members.
