VASCO: Vasco police have launched an investigation after a minor girl was allegedly kidnapped from her mother’s guardianship on Wednesday night.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, the incident occurred on September 24 at around 9.15 pm, when an unidentified person abducted her daughter from Vasco.
Following the complaint, Vasco police registered a case under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The investigation has been entrusted to PSI Prisly Carvalho of Vasco Police Station, under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
Police said efforts are underway to trace the accused and secure the safe return of the girl.
