PANAJI: Electricity Department Executive Engineer Kashinath Shetye today said that MLA cannot prevent government officer from doing jobs.
“MLA cannot prevent us from doing our jobs. He should have contacted the appropriate authorities to report the matter,” said Shetye
He further said that they were simply performing our job and a FIR would be filed against individuals causing disturbance.
“An unauthorized bar has been erected in the vicinity, where individuals gather at night to steal energy wires. We will not submit any complaints against the MLA,” said Shetye
