VASCO: Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) achieved a significant milestone in its ongoing initiative to upgrade the city’s infrastructure with the debut of a new electric transformer on Wednesday.
MMC Chairperson Girish Borkar and numerous MMC councillors attended the event, emphasizing the project’s importance as a crucial advancement for the community. At the inauguration ceremony, MMC Chairperson Girish Borkar underscored the significance of the new transformer in ensuring a reliable and efficient power supply for the region.
“This new transformer underscores our dedication to enhancing Mormugao’s infrastructure. It will not only deliver a more dependable electricity supply but also facilitate future growth and development within our city. Given the prevalent power fluctuations, this MMC transformer will be immensely beneficial, ensuring that work is not disrupted due to power outages. It will greatly benefit not only us but also the residents,” Borkar stated.
