MORMUGAO:Mormugao municipal councillor of ward-22 Sudesh Bhosle provided immediate financial assistance of Rs 10,000 from his own pocket to the house owner whose house was gutted in flames in a massive fire incident that reported at Bharat Nagar area in New Vaddem in Vasco during the late evening on Thursday.
Bhosle visited and inspected the ill fated house on Thursday and Friday and met the house owner.
He requested the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho to sanction all necessary help and financial aid to the house owner from government side and also from the Goa state disaster management authority.
He appealed the people and residents of New Vaddem not to park their vehicles in haphazard manner along the roads, making difficult to the fire and emergency services and ambulance services to move their fire tenders and ambulance van to the emergency sites.
