MOPA: Manohar International Airport has strengthened health surveillance and issued precautionary advisories for international passengers in view of rising global concern over Ebola cases reported in some African nations.
Airport authorities have begun enhanced monitoring of arriving passengers, especially those with recent travel history to affected regions. Screening procedures, health assessments and observation protocols are being carried out as part of preventive measures aimed at ensuring public safety.
Travellers have been advised to immediately inform health officials if they experience symptoms such as fever, weakness, vomiting or unusual bleeding after international travel.
Officials stated that the measures are precautionary in nature and are intended to ensure early detection and prompt medical response if required. Passengers have also been urged to follow official health advisories and avoid spreading unverified information.
