VASCO: Mormugao Police on Thursday arrested one 32-year-old Bharat Kumar, a resident of Sasmolem, Baina and a native of Patna, Bihar for illegal possession of 320 grams of Ganja worth Rs 32,000
Sources in Mormugao Police said that a narcotic raid was conducted by PSI Yeshwant Raikar along with Head Constable Aiyas Shaikh and Constables Vasu Patel, Rajaram Pandhare and Vivek Bhagat near the Sulabh Toilet at Baina
“The narcotic raid was conducted based on reliable and specific information where the accused Bharat Kumar was caught red-handed with illegal possession of 320 grams Ganja worth Rs 32,000 while he had come to deliver to his customers. We have registered an offence and arrested both the accused under sections 20 ( b ) ( ii ) ( A ) of NDPS Act 1985 and placed the accused under arrest ” said the source
PSI Stanley Gomes of Mormugao Police Station is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Dhiraj Devidas and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Santosh Desai.
