Panaji: A 30-year-old man from Mumbai died after sustaining critical injuries in a scooter self-accident near Bambolim on May 11, 2026.
According to police, the deceased identified as Anand Kulkarni, a resident of Dadar, Mumbai, was riding a Fascino scooter when the accident occurred opposite Sainik Aramgarh, Bambolim.
Following the mishap, he was rushed to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, by a 108 ambulance and admitted to Ward 107 for treatment.
However, GMC authorities later informed Agassaim Police at around 9:50 am that Kulkarni had succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in Ward 123.
Police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation is in progress to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
