PANAJI: Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities will be organised National Para Swimming Championship – 2024 from October 19, to October 22, 2024 at Campal Swimming Pool, Panaji.
The event will be held in collaboration with the office of the State Commissioner Persons with Disabilities.
On October 19, 2024 classification of para Swimmers will be held from 8.am. to 5.30 pm. and formal inauguration of the Championship will be held on October 20, 2024 at the hands of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant in the presence Minister for Sports Shri Govind Gaude, Minister for Empowerment of PwDs Shri Subhash Phal Desai.
Besides, events of para Swimming Championship will continue on October 21, 2024 from 8am.onwards Closing ceremony of the event will be held on October 22, 2024 at 11 am onwards. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Minister for Sports Shri Govind Gaude, Minister for Empowerment of PwDs Shri Subhash Phal Desai will be present on the occasion.
