NETRAVALI: Sarpanch Bunda Varak came under fire from the public for allegedly hiding the eligible recipients of the PM Krishi Sinchan Yojana and giving benefits to those who weren’t eligible.
A number of people can be seen questioning Varak in a widely shared video about why they were not informed about the central government’s flagship program while recipients of the benefits were not eligible.
The farmers said that until recently, no one had told them about the plan and they were in the dark.
The Sarpanch faces accusations of embezzling the money for the benefit of those in his immediate circle.
The footage demonstrates that Sarpanch left the area rather than responding to the people.
