COLLEM: The Dudhsagar Jeep Association elections for 2026 were conducted on Sunday with enthusiastic participation from members, as 431 voters exercised their franchise to elect the new managing committee.
Nilesh Velip secured the highest number of votes with 301 ballots in his favour. He was followed by Dilip Mayekar, who received 284 votes, while Mayur Marathe obtained 242 votes.
Other members elected to the new committee include Beni Azevedo, Nandesh Desai, Satish Satpalkar, Atanio Souza, Atanio Paul Mascarenhas, and Rajiv Khandeparkar.
The newly elected panel will be responsible for managing jeep operations and tourism-related activities connected to the popular Dudhsagar destination.
The panel received support from Vilas Rama Gauns Dessai during the election process.
