PORVORIM: The NH-66 from O’Coqueiro junction towards Nexa Showroom Porvorim which was temporarily closed for heavy vehicles last week is now open for all traffic.
Local route buses will ply normally on NH 66 from O’Coquiero junction towards Mapusa side starting today. Local bus operators to take note of the same. We encourage all the local bus operators to use NH 66 to avoid further congestion on CHOGM road.
Commuters are relieved by this decision, particularly in light of the interruption that affected everyday travel. Starting today, local route buses in particular will resume their regular operations along NH-66, running from the O’Coqueiro junction towards the Mapusa side.
All local bus operators are urged by the Goa Traffic Police to take note of this development and start operating their usual routes on NH-66 again. By doing this, bus drivers can contribute to the reduction of traffic on the CHOGM road, which is a major issue for efficient city transportation.
It is anticipated that the reopening of NH-66 would improve traffic flow, especially for those going to and from Porvorim and Mapusa. This will make the journey more efficient and comfortable for both buses and regular traffic.
To provide a quicker and more convenient journey for everyone, local bus operators are urged to make NH-66 their preferred route in order to prevent additional traffic jams and delays. The Goa Traffic Police are still keeping an eye on traffic patterns and encourage everyone to stay informed of any new developments.
