Three days after nitification, the State government has decided to keep in abeyance the decision to bring COVID19 treatment under DDSSY.
Sources said the decision was taken as many higher ups were unaware to DDSSY notification.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane confirmed the development.
“The decision has been taken after consulting the CM Dr Pramod Sawant. A fresh noyification will be issued soon,” he said.
The State government on Thursday brought the COVID19 treatment in private DDSSY Health Insurance Scheme.
As per the schedule given by the Director of Health Services (DHS), for mild symptoms rate of Rs 4600 was finalised while for critical patients Rs 6600 has been finalised.
The medium symptoms patients will be charged Rs 64400 while the serious patients the rate has been finalised at Rs 92400.
