CANACONA: After serving a Show Cause Notice cum Stop Work Order seven months ago, Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) will conduct Site Inspection with regards to the illegal filling of low-lying Khazan Lands at Galgibaga in Canacona taluka.
GCZMA serving the Notice of Site inspection in the survey no.162/8 of Village Poinguinim stated that a show cause notice cum stop work order was issued to the violator on 14/03/2022 following the receipt of a complaint of the illegality from Savy Barreto Galgibaga, and the matter is heard in the 412th GCZMA Meeting wherein it is decided to conduct fresh site inspection.
The Site Inspection is fixed for 18/10/2024 morning time, and the inspection notice signed by GCZMA Member Secretary Johnson Fernandes asked for the presence of the complainant and the alleged violator (m/s Fly East-West Pvt. Ltd) at the site inspection.
Three members of GCZMA including a Expert Member and Field Surveyor will assist and conduct the Site Inspection of the fillings of Low Lying Khazan Lands along the Galgibaga river banks at Galgibaga area.
