PERNEM: A resident of Pernem has been charged by the Mandrem Police for trying to enter the Shree Sati Devi Mahalakshmi temple and trying to crack the fund box’s lock.
The accused, Deepak Korte, allegedly entered the temple on October 20 and tried to crack the box’s lock, according to the police.
Sections 305 and 62 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) 2023 have been violated by the Mandrem Police, and PSI Jaydeep Palyekar is looking into the matter.
