MAPUSA: Mapusa Police booked an unknown person for committing theft of three sale deeds which were kept inside the office of the civil registrar cum Sub- registrar.
According to police, the Civil Registrar Cum Sub-registrar of Bardez Risheek R Naik has lodged a complaint against the unknown person for committing the theft of three sale deeds.
Police said that the incident took place prior to September 3 at The Office of the Civil Registrar Cum Sub Registrar of Bardez, Mapusa.
Police said that three sale deeds were registered between May and June 2024 and kept inside the office of the Civil Registrar Cum Sub Registrar.
Acting on the complaint, Mapusa police registered an offence under section 305 of BNS 2023.
Mapusa police are further investigating the case.
