MAPUSA: A massive accident between two two-wheelers was reported from Mapusa. One person died, and four others were injured in the accident. It is said that the accident occurred between a bullet motorcycle and a scooter, which was completely destroyed in the accident, near Bodgeshwar temple Mapusa.
The name of the deceased was given as Saddam Hussein, aged 30, a resident of Mapusa. Police informed that the deceased was proceeding towards mapusa along with two pillion riders for a wedding reception after his Dio scooter was hit by a Java bullet coming in the opposite direction. The incident was such that the rider of the demo bike was killed on the spot while the other two pillion riders suffered from major injuries. Also, the rider of the Java bike and another pillion rider suffered from significant injuries. All four have been shifted to GMC. The accident was such that the dirt bike was completely damaged in the incident
