CURTORIM: Paldem sports club curtorim defeated Madel sports club 2-0 to enter the quarter finals of 9-a-side football tournament Organised by Sporting club Virabhat and played at St.Alex Church ground curtorim.
The match started with the combination of rain and wind and making atmosphere cool and playing condition was good for players but umbrellas and raincoats seen around the ground. Paldem combination of Elton,Ansley
and Seby work and Elton scored the first goal for Paldem with neat placement but Madel Samuel header hit the cross bar and went away at the half time Scoreline read 1-0 in favour of Paldem.
Changing over Madel sports club regroup and attack the Paldem defence with combination of velenster and Regan but failed to score as Paldem defence of Diago and Showin stand strong and in the dying minutes of the game Paldem scored another goal through Ansley mascarenhas to seal the fate of Madel sports club
