PANAJI:Goa’s Pink Force helpline has responded to more than 13,634 calls, providing crucial support and encouraging women and children to seek help without fear, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Saturday.
Highlighting the state’s commitment to women’s safety, he said the Pink Force is staffed with specially trained personnel and equipped with responsive patrolling teams to ensure security in every corner of Goa. “By making safety accessible, we’re helping women step forward with confidence and contribute toward building a safe and empowered Goa,” Sawant said, adding that the initiative reflects the government’s focus on strengthening Nari Shakti.
