PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has informed that plans to open Primary, Secondary schools is under consideration by Government, and that decision will be taken after a green signal from COVID Task Force.
“Matter is under consideration of Government. Schools will be opened after the decision of the Covid Task Force,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that those teachers who have not taken the vaccination would have to produce a negative RTPCR test report every week.
“No vaccination for children up to 18 years has been yet approved and provided by the Government of India,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister said that all efforts would be made to retain the children in the school below the age of 14 years who opted out of schools due to pandemic.
