MANDUR: PWD inspected the Mandur residence to determine the estimated damages resulting from the collapsed partition wall.
During the inspection, the Mandur talathi remained present in addition to the PWD officials. According to sources, the PWD will calculate the amount that needs to be given to the family.
As claimed by Viresh Borkar, the MLA for St. Andre, there isn’t a plan to rebuild the house, according to the sources. “A proposal to rebuild the house does not exist. The sole purpose of the inspection, according to the sources, was to calculate the approximate damages caused by the wall collapse.
It may be recalled that MLA Borkar had informed that CM Pramod Sawant had assured that the house would be rebuilt by the PWD.
