PONDA: One month after the election for Board of Directors (BoDs) for Goa Dairy was held, and results were announced, the Election for Goa Dairy Chairman was held today, wherein Rajesh Faldesai was elected unopposed as Chairman of Goa Dairy.
Rajesh Faldesai was the only candidate who had filed nominations for Chairman’s post, and he was elected unopposed by all the other eleven BoDs.
Speaking to a media person, Faldesai said Goa Dairy milk is the first choice of Goans.
He said, “currently, there are complaints from customers in Goa that there is a shortage of Goa Dairy milk in Goan Market. My first priority is to meet customers’ demands by making a sufficient quantity of Goa Dairy milk available to Goan Customers. Goa Dairy Milk is the first preference of customers in Goa, and due to the shortage, it has benefitted Sumul. We will study how there is a shortage of Goa Dairy Milk.”
He said that; secondly, they are also trying to resume the cattle feed operations, which are suspended for reasons we need to find out.
Falesia further said everything will be put on the right track in fifteen days for the smooth functioning of Goa Dairy with the support of BoDs, Farmers and the cooperation of the Goa Government.
