PANAJI: Congress’ Cumbharjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai today has denied rumours of him quitting the Congress and joining the BJP.
“I never went to CM’s bungalow yesterday; I was at home,” said Faldesai.
When asked why he did not attend the crucial CLP meeting yesterday night, Faldesai said he was unaware of the late-night CLP meeting.
“They had put a message on the group, but I was asleep by then,” he added.
Faldesai claimed that he was not in touch with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and was only in touch with GPCC President Amit Patkar.
