MARGAO: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane made a surprise visit to South Goa District Hospital and assured to upgrade facilities in the hospital.
“Undertook a surprise inspection at South Goa District Hospital today, visiting various wards and departments, and interacting with patients to gather their reviews on the services provided,” Rane said.
He stated that SGDH needs an infrastructure upgrade to provide top facilities and treatment to the people of South Goa.
“It should evolve into a tertiary hospital, and we are focused on upgrading services to meet this goal. I will take up the discussion with the CM Dr. Pramod Sawant on top priority regarding enhancing staff strength by bringing in more medical officers and nurses,” he said.
“We are fully committed to ensuring better services and high-quality treatment for Goans. Determined efforts are being made to improve every aspect of healthcare delivery at SGDH, from facilities to staffing, ensuring that the people of Goa receive top-notch healthcare facilities and treatment. #TheGoaModel,” he said.
