PANAJI: The Directorate of Art and Culture has started the registration process for Warkari groups (Dindis) from Goa under the Scheme for Assistance to Warkaris from Goa, aimed at supporting and formally recognising their participation in the annual Pandharpur Wari pilgrimage.
The scheme is intended to ensure organised participation of Warkaris through a transparent framework while safeguarding and promoting the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Warkari Sampradaya.
Dindi group leaders have been asked to submit duly filled registration forms along with necessary documents within the prescribed deadline. They have also been directed to carefully verify participant details before submission to prevent duplication and ensure authenticity of registrations.
The application form is available on the Directorate’s official website, www.artandculture.goa.gov.in. The last date for submission is May 10, 2026.
