MORJIM: Mandrem Police have registered a case against the manager of a restaurant in Morjim for allegedly playing loud music without obtaining proper permission from the concerned authorities.
According to police, the offence was registered on 16 May 2026 at around 12:32 am based on a state complaint filed by PSI Pratik V. Garudi attached to Mandrem Police Station.
Police said that on 15 May 2026 at around 10:10 pm, the accused, identified as Krishna Gelal (37), manager of Tides and Bitess Restaurant located at Vithaldas Wada, Morjim, Pernem, allegedly played loud music at the premises without the necessary permissions, thereby causing noise pollution and violating prescribed sound level norms.
The accused is a resident of Kacholewada, Morjim, Pernem, Goa, and also has an address at Nyay Khand, Indrapuram, Shipra Sun City, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Further investigation is being conducted by Police Inspector Girendre J. Naik of Mandrem Police Station.
