PERNEM: Pernem Police have arrested one Russian National for illegal possession of narcotics substance LSD and Ganja.
As per Pernem pi Jivba Dalvi credible information was received from reliable sources that one foreign national person is involved in durg activities Morjim, Pernem – Goa.
Further on 09/06/2021 their was confirmation that accused will be bringing drugs at Morjim and so Pernem PI Jivba Dalvi along with a team conducted a surprise raid during which the narcotics substance LSD and Ganja was found in the possession of the accused foreign national.
The drugs were immediately seized and taken into custody under the panchanama. The seized LSD is worth Rs. 8,50,000/-
in international market.
The accused person has been identified as Mr. Dmitry Boldov, age 41 yrs N/o Russia.
An offence under sections 20 (b) (ii) (A) and 22 (b) of NDPS act has been registered against the accused person.
Further PI informed that the guest house owner had not filled the C form of the accused foreign national and hence another offence under section 14 of Foreigners Act has been registered separately.
The raid was conducted by PI Jivba Dalvi and consisted of PSI Harish Vaingankar, constables Vinod Pednekar, Rohan Velgenkar, Dayesh Khandeparkar, Vishnu Gad and Mahesh Naik.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SDPO Gajanan Prabhudessai and SP NORTH Shobit Saxena IPS.
