PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today said that the investigation into the double murder case at Saligao is progressing in the right direction and that the accused will be arrested soon.
Speaking to reporters, Dr. Sawant assured that the police are working diligently to crack the case.
“The police are on track, and the accused will be arrested shortly. People will also come to know the reasons behind the incident,” he said.
The Chief Minister’s statement comes amid public outrage and concern over the brutal killings that have shaken the Saligao area.
The police have intensified efforts to trace the perpetrators, with multiple teams deployed and key leads being pursued.
Dr. Sawant reiterated that the government will ensure justice for the victims and that no one involved in the crime will be spared.
