SALIGAO: Saligao MLA Kedar Naik Chaired the General Body Council meeting of the Reis Magos Heritage Centre.
Key attendees included Guirish Pundalik Uskaikar (Vice Chairperson), Upaskar Vasu Madu (Director) Directorate of Musuem , Dr. Nilesh B. Fal Dessai (Member Secretary) , Santosh Kashinath Bandodkar (Treasurer), Dr. Fatima Gracisas (Representative of INTACH-member), Deepika Gaonkar- Exploration Officer, Sumesh Mahale(Conservation Assistant), Eknath Oraskar-Member , Henrique D’Souza -Member , Arch. Gerard Da Cunha – Member and others.
The meeting approved the FY 2024-25 budget, planned fort illumination for Goa Liberation Day and discussed cannon stands, a café and cultural events to enhance the fort as a heritage destination.
Preserving heritage and promoting history remains a priority.
