PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant reiterating government’s commitment and concern of the education of the Goan children said it has introduced technical education like codding and robotics at school level and have initiated steps to train master trainers to train future technocrats in the State.
The Chief Minister said Government apart from implementing various schemes in the educational field have initiated steps to provide robust infrastructure for education sector.
The Chief Minister exhorted that education is must which should coupled with morals and values. Here is an area we have to focuss upon and parents and teachers in particular have a great responsibility to work in this direction, which will help to create well cultured society.
He complimented the stakeholders for their tireless efforts to provide education and for laying the due thrust on quality education. If we intend to build a building for hundred years, we also need to work towards creating better society for years to come.
Highlighting the importance of education he said a food can quench hunger for the time being but education has a capacity to quench his hunger throughout his life he added.
