State Council of Educational and Training (SCERT) Goa has announced its new project ‘Online Capacity Building Program (OCBP) in collaboration with Mission Sparks Foundation (MSF) to equip teachers with latest pedalogical tools.
This program will be conducted through mobile centric application “ChalkLit” developed by MSF.
With OBCP the teachers have the flexibility of completing the training at their convenient time and pace. Also teachers will no longer be required to miss classes or travel for attending the training programs.
Further, the teachers can continue to access the training material and resources on their device of choice (phone/laptop/desktop) even after completion of the training period.
Most importantly OCBP allows the teachers to raise queries without any hesitation or fear of judgement unlike a physical training session and provides doing resolution by OCBP experts within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, SCERT will select teachers batch wise for the online capacity building program. A circular regarding the program will also be shared to schools mentioning the schedule.
