PANAJI: A scooter theft case has been registered at the Taste of Telugu Bar & Restaurant after a resident from Mapusa complained that his two-wheeler was stolen from an open parking area in Panaji.
According to police, complainant Sanket Nagvekar (25), a resident of Samtanagar, Khorlim, Mapusa, reported that accused Boya Lakshman allegedly stole his red-coloured Yamaha Fascino scooter bearing registration number GA03BD1076.
The theft reportedly occurred between February 28 and March 10, 2026, near the restaurant premises in Panaji, Tiswadi. The stolen scooter, valued at around ₹60,000, was parked in an open parking space at the time of the incident.
Police stated that the vehicle details include Engine No. E33SE0956945 and Chassis No. ME1SEL81550011695.
Further investigation is being carried out by Head Constable Vishant Mahale of Panaji Police Station.
