In a disturbing turn of events, a security guard was found dead under mysterious circumstances, allegedly having fallen from an 8th-floor terrace on Friday morning.
The incident, which occurred in the MVR Constructions site in Sancoale, has left locals shocked and the victim’s family devastated. The family, reeling from the loss, has raised suspicions surrounding the circumstances of the guard’s death and is demanding justice and support.
The police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events leading to the tragic incident.
Sources in Verna police said the deceased was identified as Raju Manjhi, 31 years of age and a native of Jharkhand posted as the security guard of the residential colony
“The incident occurred in the morning and we carried out the panchanama at the site and are investigating the case from all angles,” said the source.
Meanwhile other workers on site doubt foul play in the incident
“We were working here but no one knows about the incident and it was only in the early morning when the body was found. The dead body did not have pants and we doubt that there could be foul play involved in the incident or someone with enmity with him may have pushed him from the top floor terrace ” said the worker.
