CANACONA: The Annual Prize Presentation Ceremony of Shri Nirakar Vidyalaya was recently held at the school with great enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest, Sindhu Prabhu Dessai, Deputy Director of Education, lauded the school’s progress and commended its innovative practices, stating that it has the potential to become one of Goa’s model schools.
The Guest of Honour,ex student of the school, Dr. Suraj Prabhudessai, President of the Indian Medical Association, shared insightful anecdotes, emphasizing the importance of staying connected to one’s roots. He highlighted the vital role that parents and teachers play in shaping students’ lives.
A key highlight of the event was the announcement of Miss Vibhuti Videsh Bhaireli as the “Nirakarian of the Year 2024-25.”
Shree Nirakar Education Society Chairman Prashant Naik, presided over the function, while Headmistress Mrs. Urvee Phaldesai welcome the guests.
The prize distribution was conducted by Mrs. Poonam Bandekar and Ms. Raksha Pagi. Special prizes, instituted by the teachers, were presented by Mr. Rahul Gaonkar.Mrs.Maithili Gunaji proposed the vote of thanks.
The Annual School Report was presented by Mrs. Vallery D’Silva, while Mrs. Ujwala Lolienkar and Mrs. Deepa Fernandes compered the event.
