Despite the increase in COVID 19 cases in the Betki, Cooperative Minister and Priol MLA Govind Gaude on Saturday said that the situation is in control.
Gaude said that though there is a spike in Covid-19 cases in Betki, the contact tracing was put in place and we began with aggressive testing by establishing swab collection mechanism in the Betki PHC.
“I am monitoring the situation on the ground. Spur in infection is reported due to aggressive testing and transmission is contained. Today along with Deputy Collector and Sarpanch of Betki Khandola I have inspected the site for future measures,” he said.
Betki has recorded about 35 till last evening and the administration is contemplating declaring it as containment zone. Though no decision has been taken yet.
