Mapusa: In a tragic incident, a six-month-old baby girl, was declared brought dead at Asilo Hospital, Mapusa, on the night of August 3. The incident was reported to the police at 11:51 pm via a medical memo from the on-duty doctor at the hospital.
Initial inquiries conducted by the police with the infant’s father revealed that the child was playing at home in Bastora, Bardez, along with other children when she accidentally swallowed a live fish from a tub. The child reportedly choked on the fish, leading to her death
