PANAJI: Former Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte has accused Jit Arolkar for being involved in the attempt to murder of MLA Jit Arolkar.
Sopte said that since last two years, the merciless attacks have been order of the day.
He alleged that Jit was involved in the attack on Konadkar. Sopte said that two days, there was another attack at Morjim.
He said that Jit is considering himself as the government and all powerful, after supporting the government.
Mandrem police have formed special teams to track down the accused involved in assaulting former Mandrem Sarpanch and current panch Mahesh Konadkar.
Mandrem police have filed formal complaint under 352, 118(1), 126(2), 324(2) r/w 3(5) of BNS-2023 has been registered in Mandrem Police Station.
“Special teams have been constituted to find the accused in the case,” police said.
