PANAJI: St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa won the Inter-Collegiate Hockey Women Championship 2023-24, organized by Goa University at Hockey Turf, Dayanand Bandodkar Krida Sankool, Peddem, Mapusa held on 6th and 7th February, 2024.
In the Women’s championship finals, St. Xavier’s College defeated Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim with a final score 5-0.
In total Four women’s teams participated in the Inter College Hockey Championship.
Best player was awarded to Ms. Prajwala Harmalkar, of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa
Presentation ceremony Chief Guest Capt. Dr. Sam Braganza, College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye, Government College of Arts and Commerce, Pernem along with Mr. Balachandra B. Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners-ups.
