Says there are ample opportunities in Goa

PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today urged teachers in Goa to counsel and guide students on career options.
“I urged teachers to counsel and guide students and also their parents on career starting. I am saying this because there are ample opportunities in Goa,” said Sawant while addressing the Bhrahman programme on the occasion of World Tourism Day
He further said that the government is committed to enhancing the education infrastructure in the state of Goa for the bright future of the youth.
The Chief Minister said that the teachers have to think about the careers of the students and should focus on innovative and creative educative methods to bring revolution in education.
“The Government has provided information on options of skill development on State and national portals.,” he added.
Sawant said that teachers can impart thorough and proper guidance to students about their careers to excel as per their capabilities, especially the students from rural areas who could not secure career-oriented education due to a lack of proper career guidance.
The Chief Minister further said teachers play an important role in shaping the destiny of the students and added that teachers have to keep themselves abreast of the latest happenings regularly.
He suggested they reach the message of Atmanirbhar Bharat to the grass-root level.
