Panaji:
After almost eight months, the casinos will be allowed to start operations both on and off-shore from November 1.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the cabinet has finally granted approval for casino operations.
“The home department will issue SOP’s to be followed in terms of social distancing and so also the capacity allowed. Initially they will have to work with 50 p.c the actual capacity,” the chief minister said.
On the collection of fees, the chief minister said that the operators will have to pay the fees at the start of every month now.
